How to connect

Claude, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT and agents without a browser.

  • Claude (web and desktop): Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, with the URL https://tracker.aquarela.app/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http tracker https://tracker.aquarela.app/mcp and then /mcp to authorize.
  • Codex: codex mcp add tracker --url https://tracker.aquarela.app/mcp and then codex mcp login tracker.
  • ChatGPT: Settings > Apps and connectors > Create, with the URL https://tracker.aquarela.app/mcp and OAuth authentication.

On the authorization screen the person picks the organizations (one, several, or all of them, including the ones they join later) and whether the app can create issues. With more than one, every tool accepts the organization argument (the company slug or name, see whoami); without it, the company comes from the issue or project in the request when only one of them has that code, whoami and list_projects show all of them, and search_issues without project searches all of them (each issue with organization). Connections are listed at https://tracker.aquarela.app/account/connections, where they can be revoked.

Without a browser (CI, an agent running in a pipeline), /mcp also accepts the REST API personal token in the Authorization: Bearer <token> header, for example claude mcp add --transport http tracker https://tracker.aquarela.app/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer $TRACKER_TOKEN".
